Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in technical accounting, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting. Experience with and knowledge of GAAP principles are highly desirable for this role.

Responsibilities:

- Perform account analysis and reconciliation tasks
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy
- Utilize 10-key typing skills for efficient data entry
- Apply knowledge of GAAP principles to financial reporting
- Assist in general ledger accounting and maintain financial records
- Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate financial statements
- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience in public accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of debits and credits
- Proficiency in technical accounting practices
- Familiarity with Xero software is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
